Adam Hahn, DMD, FAGD, LVIF

Dr. Adam Hahn graduated from Chapin High School in 1994 and earned his B.S. from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1997. He then moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where he graduated in May 2003 from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology presented Dr. Adam Hahn with the Horace Wells Senior Student Award for outstanding achievement in the field of dental anesthesiology.

Dr. Adam Hahn then moved to Columbia to complete his residency training at Palmetto Health Richland. Through the residency program, Dr. Hahn gained experience placing and restoring dental implants, general and cosmetic dentistry, as well as sedation dentistry.

Elissa – Practice Manager

Elissa – Practice Manager

Elissa joined the Smile Columbia team in 2017. She graduated from MUSC with a Masters in Healthcare Administration. She has been in the healthcare industry since 2002 and has a passion for business and dental technology. Elissa strives to provide an exceptional experience for every patient by assuring our Columbia, SC dental practice runs smoothly. Outside of the practice, Elissa enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, watersports, and hanging out on the lake.

Tonya – Dental Assistant

Tonya – Treatment Coordinator
Tonya was born and raised in the Columbia area. She graduated from the dental assisting program from Midland Technical College in 1993. She is married and loves to spend time with family. She joined the Smile Columbia team in September 2006 as Dr. Adam Hahn’s assistant. Since joining the team she has accompanied Dr. Adam Hahn to LVI on numerous occasions to better educated herself on all the latest advancements on neuromuscular dentistry as well as cosmetic and restorative. She uses this information to better educate her patients on the latest advancements and the importance NeuroMuscular dentistry and how it affects the whole body. She is very passionate about her work and also about her patients.

Kaylin – Dental Assistant

Kaylin was born and raised in the Columbia area. She played softball while attending Erskine College and graduated with a major in Sports Management and a minor in Health, Health Management, and Business. While attending nursing school, Kaylin began working with Smile Columbia and realized that dentistry was her passion and that she was where she was meant to be. She is very passionate about her patients and is always striving to continue her education in dentistry so she can continue to improve the overall health and smile of her patients. In fact, she just received her certification in Phlebotomy as part of her continuing education. Kaylin is a huge asset to our team here at Smile Columbia Dentistry.

Kirsten – Hygienist

Kirsten – Hygienist

Kirsten joined the Smile Columbia team in 2019. Kirsten received her certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Midlands Technical College. She has a passion for dentistry and provides a positive experience for her patients. Her goals are to create a calm and comfortable visit while getting patients excited about their oral health. She enjoys spending time with family, traveling, working out, and spending her summers on the lake.
