Dr. Paul Hahn, Columbia, SC Cosmetic DentistDr. Paul Hahn has a sincere concern for his patients. He is committed to producing superior results for each patient that comes to Smile Columbia. Dr. Paul Hahn is determined to attain a high level of dental excellence in the results he achieves with every patient. This dedication is evident in his extensive training and use of the most technologically advanced equipment, as well as the highest quality dental materials.

A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Paul Hahn entered the United States Army Dental Corps and was stationed right here in Columbia at Fort Jackson. Once he experienced the beauty of South Carolina, Dr. Hahn decided to stay and open a private practice after fulfilling his obligation to the U.S. Army.

<strong>Dr. Adam Hahn</strong>, Columbia, SC DentistDr. Adam Hahn graduated from Chapin High School in 1994 and earned his B.S. from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1997. He then moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where here graduated in May 2003 from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology presented Dr. Adam Hahn with the Horace Wells Senior Student Award for outstanding achievement in the field of dental anesthesiology.

Dr. Adam Hahn then moved to Columbia to complete his residency training at Palmetto Health Richland. Through the residency program, Dr. Hahn gained experience placing and restoring dental implants, general and cosmetic dentistry, as well as sedation dentistry.

Dr. Adam Hahn received The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) 2011 Fellowship Award. The AGD is a professional association of more that 37,000 general dentists dedicated to staying up to date in the profession through continuing education to better serve the public.

The fellowship award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. To accomplish this goal, Dr. Adam Hahn completed at least 500 hours of continuing education, passed a comprehensive exam, and fulfilled at least three years of continuous membership in the AGD.

Dr. Adam Hahn has also received the Fellow Designation from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). This makes him one of only seven Fellows in the state of South Carolina,and the only LVI Fellow in Columbia, SC.

The LVI Fellow designation recognizes that a dentist has completed a series of studies on the clinical skills and knowledge necessary to provide comprehensive aesthetic treatment for the dental patient as taught in LVI's Core Series. The Fellow distinction is awarded only to those doctors who successfully complete a comprehensive exam covering the skills and techniques taught in the LVI Core (Core I - VII) Series. Successful completion of the exam and awarding of the distinction of LVI Fellow recognizes the doctor's ongoing commitment to lifelong learning. In order to be considered an LVI Fellow a doctor must participate in the LVI Core Curriculum (Core I - VII), which includes a minimum of 278 continuing dental education hours of training in advances aesthetics and neuromuscular science and successfully complete the comprehensive examination to reflect an understanding of the clinical skills and principals taught in this series.

Dr. Adam Hahn enjoys sharing the message of neuromuscular and aesthetic dentistry. He lectures and gives hands on training to the General Practice Dental Residents from Richland Memorial Hospital as a way to increase awareness in the dental community about the life changing benefits of neuromuscular dentistry.

Meet the Staff

LaurenLauren moved to Lexington, South Carolina in 2004. She enjoys spending time with her little girl, running, and painting. She joined the Smile Columbia team in May of 2007, as the Patient Care and Marketing Coordinator. She assists patients with their insurance claims, financial arrangements, and also helps patients to schedule their treatment and hygiene appointments. She looks forward to helping patients maximize and understand their insurance benefits and answer any questions that they may have concerning their dental treatment needs!


TonyaTonya was born and raised in the Columbia, SC area. She graduated from the dental assisting program at Midlands Technical College in 1993. She is married and loves to spend time watching her girls, Kelsey, Kaylin, and Kinzie play softball. She joined the Smile Columbia team in September 2006 as Dr. Adam Hahn's assistant. Since joining the team, she has accompanied Dr. Adam Hahn to LVI on numerous occasions to better educate herself on all the latest advancements on NeuroMuscular dentistry as well as cosmetic and restorative. She uses this information to better educate her patients on the lastest advancements and the importance of NeuroMusclar dentistry and how it affects the whole body. She is very passionate about her work and also about her patients.


StephenStephen is our office manager. He strives to create a patient-friendly atmosphere at Smile Columbia. Feel free to contact him with any of your concerns about your dental care. He looks forward to the opportunity to improve your dental experience. Stephen is a graduate of The USC and a fan of all things Carolina.


AlidaAlida became a dental hygienist in 2001 and has been with the practice since then. She is a familiar face and smile to most of our patients. Alida is passionate about dentistry and carrying for her patients. She enjoys helping patients in out state of the art office by giving them the cutting edge treatment and information in order for them to obtain a beautiful and healthy smile for life.


CassandraCassandra is 1993 graduate of Goldsboro High School. After high school, Cassandra work as a Certified Nursing Assistant for ten years. She became a Certified Dental Assistant II after graduating from Wayne Community College Dental Assisting Program in 2004. In March 2008, Cassandra relocated to Columbia, South Carolina, where she joined the Smile Columbia team. Cassandra is the mother of four beautiful children, Demetrius, Tyre, Keeiaru and Kuwaun. She enjoys attending church and spending time with her family. Cassandra enjoys the dental field and has a passion for helping others.
