Dr. Adam Hahn graduated from Chapin High School in 1994 and earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. He then moved to Charleston, South Carolina, where he graduated in May 2003 from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology presented Dr. Hahn with the Horace Wells Senior Student Award for outstanding achievement in the field of dental anesthesiology.
Dr. Adam Hahn then moved to Columbia to complete his residency training at Palmetto Health Richland. Through the residency program, Dr. Hahn gained experience placing and restoring dental implants, general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry, and sedation dentistry.
After residency training, Dr. Adam Hahn joined his father, Dr. Paul Hahn, here at Smile Columbia.
Currently, Dr. Adam Hahn is attending the CORE continuum of courses at the Las Vegas Institute. He is receiving the most advanced training in the world in neuromuscular and aesthetic dentistry in an effort to serve his patients better. Through neuromuscular dentistry, Dr. Hahn can help patients with aesthetic concerns, as well as those with functional bite problems.

A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Paul Hahn entered the United States Army Dental Corps and was stationed right here in Columbia at Fort Jackson. Once he experienced the beauty of South Carolina, Dr. Hahn decided to stay and open a private practice after fulfilling his obligation to the U.S. Army.
